An interactive fruit bowl
The fruitine is composed by an interactive fruit bowl and a little portable reminder that help you remember to take the recommended servings of fruit a day.

The project had to be developed under the premise of one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the goal chosen was 3. Good heald and well-being.
The user interactions with the Fruitine were designed to be non-intrusive.
There are several studies that state that humans prefer ordered, symmetrical patterns over random patterns. Based on this principle, in our system, the user would be notified that he/she needs to eat fruit with a subtle warning; a drawn pattern will break on both the bowl and the reminder surfaces.
The bowl incorporates four load sensors at the bottom which are constantly measuring the weight of the bowl. If the user has not taken any piece of fruit (within a programmable amount of time) or the fruit bowl is empty, both the bowl and the reminder will break their patterns and they will subtly tell the user that is time to eat fruit/refill!
